Pennsylvania Chamber Artists is a collective of musicians which presents chamber music concerts of varying instrumentation and diverse repertoire. PCA is an organization that creates inspiring musical experiences of the highest artistic standards for audiences in the tristate area.

We value the consistent quality of our musical experiences that expand the listener’s world and strive for a welcoming encounter with the arts for all of these people. PCA is dedicated to presenting music by historically underrepresented composers and is committed to performing and premiering works by contemporary and living composers.

Pennsylvania Chamber Artists

Doug Wimer is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Bible (now, Cairn University) with a Bachelor of Science in Bible and Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Vocal Performance, studying with Dr. David Shockey (voice), Dr. Sheila Threlfall (piano), Dr. Roy Brunner (organ) and the late Dr. Samuel Hsu (piano). Post-graduate studies followed at Westminster Choir College (Princeton, NJ) where he received the Master of Music degree in Organ Performance as a student of Mr. Robert Carwithen.

Previously, he has held positions as organist of Great Valley Presbyterian Church, Malvern, PA, Associate Organist of Tenth Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, PA and adjunct faculty (organ, literature, hymnology, service playing, etc.) at Cairn University. Most recently he served at Evangelical United Methodist Church in New Holland. Doug is currently the president of Buch Organs in Ephrata, PA and Dean of the Lancaster Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He lives in the Downingtown area with his wife, Joy.

Pennsylvania Flute Duet

Flutists Jocelyn Crosby and Faith Wasson form the core members of this jubilant and brilliant ensemble. Equally at home with glittering technique as they are with luxurious and effervescent tone, The Pennsylvania Flute Duet performs music from all genres, for audiences of all ages.

Jocelyn Crosby is a concert flutist, freelance performer and collaborative musician based in Lancaster, PA. She won third prize for the National Flute Association’s Alto Flute Artist Competition. Ms. Crosby was honored to be selected as a performer for the International Low Flutes Festival in 2024 and as an alto performer in their professional flute choir. She has been a judge for multiple flute and concerto competitions at the collegiate and high school level. Ms. Crosby enjoys teaching the flute in Lancaster and at the Community Music School in Collegeville, PA. She additionally serves as a board member for the Flute Society of Greater Philadelphia and as a reviewer for The Flutist Quarterly.

Ms. Crosby is a twice graduate of Temple University, most recently having earned her Master of Music degree, and she has obtained an additional Master of Education degree from the University of Wisconsin. Her teachers include Diana Morgan, Adeline Tomasone, Eileen Grycky, and Lynne Cooksey.

Award winning flutist, Faith Wasson, is an international performing artist, having performed throughout Europe and North America as orchestral, chamber musician and soloist. She manages her own chamber music series, Flute with Faith & Friends, featuring an array of diverse repertoire and instrumentation. As classical music artist in residence, Faith presents the classical performance series at the Media Arts Council. She is the piccolo/3rd flutist with the Southeastern PA Symphony where she is also the Chamber Music Series Coordinator. Faith teaches flute, piccolo and chamber music online and at her home in Glenside, PA.
